shock Re: laughingCan You Save Al Gore?laughingNEW YOUTUBE DEBATES laughing

So this is sad: Find letter from the Gas company in the mailbox to tell that they are reducing the number of periodic invoices from 6x to 5x per annum.

Fine and dandy it goes on about this being so good for the environment and helping CO2 reduction AND saving 500 trees this way.... no word of cost reduction that might get passed to the client.

Then it struck me.... they chopped down 500 trees to tell the customers that we would not be getting 6 but 5 bills, where me and many have switched to electronic billing already over a year ago and telling them every few month after receipt of Email or SMS to the cell that we got 10 days to find the meter reading and enter it into their database.

Re: laughingCan You Save Al Gore?laughingNEW YOUTUBE DEBATES laughing

Hi Al, how are you?

Fine Sekerob,

Tell me Al, you are well in with the concept of Deniability are you?

No Sekerob,

Well let me explain Al, Deniability is not knowing and not wanting to be told at all, so if you're asked about a hot topic, you can honestly say, without any issue of knowing about an Inconvenient Truth, that you think it's not true and no one ever brought it to your attention before or produced support that it could be True with Scientific Base.

Ah, Sekerob, that, yes, I think many humans have that inbuilt self-defence not to cause too much mental discomfort.... all that stuff that in some cases causes worry about the pennies and consequential increase of the systolic and diastolic blood pressure, a common western affliction.

Well Al, you produced this film and in some countries through court action, a group of deniers that know, yet claim to not know that they know, have tried to keep your film out of the circuit so that the children would not learn, and therefore could not develop their own thoughts, which is what education is about is it not, if not openness and honesty?

Yes, and,

Well, there is this interesting piece of news where Venus is very very hot, we know that, and until now not an Inconvenient Piece of Truth, but it seems now it has all that CO2 in it's atmosphere which Earth has for the fastest fastest majority stored underground or otherwise put away in it's diminishing plant cover and formerly cold, now warming oceans.

Yes, and,

Well, you know, homo sapiens sapiens has been deforesting the planet and been digging up all these fossil fuels like coal, lignite, oil, gas and been releasing all this CO2 stored in there into our atmosphere by the tens / hundreds of millions of tons annually since the industrial revolution started ever increasing.

Yes Sekerob, we've known since the sixtees that it's causing this atmosphere to change and increasing the heat retention. We have all these unseasonal hurricanes, the Atlantic is too warm, we got all sorts of 'extreme' weather in places where it's not normal to occur.

Well Al, it seems NASA send this Express space vehicle to Venus and the data coming back suggesting that Venus had a similar life cycle as Earth, but because of the high CO2 content went too fast through it's evolutionary cycle and lost it's water and thus never was able to develop live as we know it here on our planet.

Ah, interesting Sekerob, can you send me that report as I'd like to see how it correlates to the overwhelming body of evidence we already have for Earth. Assuming chemistry is chemistry all the universe through, it would represent more food for thought, and raise my blood pressure, but that's for the best.... I'll happily sacrifice, for when the truth is accepted, my blood pressure will come down again.

Okay Al, here it comes with a short excerpt:
http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2008/04/080402202055.htm

Here, the CO2 is locked up in minerals in the crust, in the oceans, and in plant life. The release of some of this back into the atmosphere is the source of current concern about global warming and climate change. On Venus, most of the CO2 is still in the atmosphere and the surface temperature is a scorching 450 degrees Celsius, slowing or stopping geological as well as biological evolution. It is much too hot for life as we know it, for instance.

'The interesting thing is that the physics is the same in both cases' said Prof Taylor. 'The great achievement of Venus Express is that it is putting the climatic behaviour of both planets into a common framework of understanding.'

Nice talking to you Al, and if you have any Inconvenient Truths to share it's much appreciated. Better we know about it and be in a position to make decisions, undesirable as it may be, but at least having the option to consider what is appropriate action in the time we still have left before doomsday becomes irreversible.

cheers

[PS: When is the sequel coming out Al?]

Sekerob,

I don't recall giving you that interview - but thank you for passing on the report.

There are no plans as yet for a sequel.

Regards, Al

Re: laughingCan You Save Al Gore?laughingNEW YOUTUBE DEBATES laughing

Thanks Al for letting us know. I wonder if the world is ready for a comprehensive refresher in terms of what was right and what came worse.

And, you have full deniability, I know, this one was just a role play acted out by 2 Liberal Social Democrats living in Italy .... you'd simply call it Democrat in the USA which some confuse with Liberal Socialists.... it's difficult for some not accustomed to a pluriform multi party electoral system like most countries on the old continent have.

thanks so much and hope to here again soon from you.

Sincerely
