Need some help with html and minor website problem

I have become completely frustrated with what is a somewhat minor website problem; it's my website to promote grid computing, so I hope I can get some help here. When I initially designed my www.2plus2is4.com, I must have started with a copy of my other website and made changes from there. Anyway, I keep trying to change the name of the title bar from "World Community Grid Page" to "Project 2plus2is4 - Teach our children about grid computing!", ... but the change never shows up after it is saved and loaded on my server. It's really weird. I have attempted to change the title bar at the same time as text changes in the body, and everything gets updated except for the title bar. I know that I am attempting the change properly, and I have even started with a fresh blank page, added the title bar info first, and then copied the text over to the new page, but that doesn't help, either. The html code is as follows:
<html>
<head>
<meta content="text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1"
http-equiv="content-type">
<title>Project 2plus2is4 - Teach our children about grid computing!</title>
<meta content="William J. Velek" name="author">
<meta
content="Lobbying for a law to require schools to teach about grid computing and how it can help mankind."
name="description">
</head>
<body>
The rest is the code for the body of the page. I can't find anything in the code that continues to I.D. the site as "World Community Grid Page", and I have also cleared my browsers cache before loading the page. The incorrect title bar appears on my computer using both Netscape and I.E., so I don't know what is going on. I've designed plenty of pages in the past and have never had this problem.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

A Non-Profit Project To Improve Education
Teach our children how grid computing can help mankind!

not sure what the issue is: FFX2.0.0.6 + IE7.... but the promotion works :D

thinking
Sounds like there is a cache somewhere holding the old value.
An ISP?

Bill, you are using frames. The "World Community Grid Page" title is on the frameset page.

If you are using URL masking, then you will have to go to your domain management pages, and change the title there.

That was it, Didactylos; thanks for the tip. <singing now> "Happy days are here again ..." biggrin

I had originally set the forwarding to go to my WCG site, so I had the title bar set accordingly. When I changed the forwarding to my new page, I evidently overlooked changing the title bar field.

Sekerob, I wasn't referring to the info at the beginning of my website; I was referring to the info in the title bar at the very top of the screen, which also appears truncated in the tabs for the browser as well as at the bottom of the windows screen. But thanks for trying to help.

Lawrence, I had already tried clearing the cache, but thanks for trying to help, too.

I can guarantee that I won't forget this lesson. I have been trying to change that, off and on, for months. Glad I finally asked for some help. It would have saved me a lot of time and frustration if I would have asked sooner. sad

Cheers.

I never knew it was called that in inglese.... an area completely ignored (by me). The only place I've seen it before called 'like' that, was in the desktop preferences "Barra del Titolo Attiva" (Active Title Bar).... sure enough it's showing 2 plus 2 is 4 now biggrin
