My agent is showing my username correctly, and it shows that I have a few thousand points. It uploads results, increases the points, and downloads more work.
BUT, on the WCG website after I log in (with the same username as the agent shows) it does not show any device installations, and the stats are completely empty. What went wrong? |

----------------------------------------yes i see in the member stats comparison that you have no score although you registered on 5/11. Would you mind making a scree-nprint of the UD agent and post here. How to do that (if you dont know) is described in the here: http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread?thread=8344 If member of a team, have you visited the team page and seen if you are listed? Meantime, do not worry as this has happened once or twice during a system disturbance, though I'm not sure we had one on the 11th. TTYL Sekerob

Normally this means that the name that the UD client is registered under is different from the name used to sign in to the website. Lawrence |

I am having the same problem. I have results on my client machine, but when I login, it doesn't show my points or anything in my device manager. Please help! Thanks in advance. |

Well, I uninstalled, manually deleted the installation folders, and reinstalled. When I ran it again for the first time it asked for my username and password again.
It seems to be working fine now! Thanks for your help, everyone. |

Sorry, forgot to mention that I signed up with a new username when I reinstalled. Perhaps that's what fixed it.

But I think that reinstalling using your website member name and password would have worked too. I don't know what name your old points are stored under. If you know your old computer ID number, you could query the staff using 'Contact Us'. Lawrence |

Hi everyone. I believe I am having the same problem. 3 people who joined my team this month must have missed a step in the registration process because they are accumulating individual points, but on the team page they show 0 points and no device installed. My question----is it possible to edit their profile or devcice manager to properly register their computer or do they have to unistall/reinstall? I am hoping it is possible to edit the existing profile as these people are inexperienced computer users and I would like to minimize the impact to them.
Thanks for any insight you can offer. The Grid is a great tool. |

With the current registration process, it is really easy to end up with two usernames. It's unfortunate, sorry.
Anyway: give a list of the member names in question, and we shall see what we can do. The member name is shown in the top right of the agent screen - please ask your members to check there. |

Hi Didactylos. Thanks for responding so quickly, I have been away for a while. Visited my parents where I uninstalled and reinstalled the grid on my father's computer. He is now OK, but the other 2 users are still showing no points on the team page. The member names are:
Johnna Benson rockschuler Both are members of Jessica's Team. I do not know if Johnna is registering individual points or not. Rock tells me he is getting individual points/run time but nothing at the team level. Any advice/insight you can offer on the quickest way to fix them is appreciated. I am giving a talk to a large group tomorrow about joining the Grid and want to make sure I am giving people proper direction on registering. Thanks very much. |
