Re: The Formula One Thread

F1 boss Ecclestone gives Azerbaijan European ...ite human rights concerns

What next yu ask ?
Well, Greedy Bernie is where he can find more money of course !!!
One of the more corrupted states of the world, trampling human rights
(Is Azerbaidjan really in Europe as we consider politics, economy even geography???)
That's really a shame! China,Bahrain --- Azerbaijan...North Corea?
I hope there will be a revolt ag that project !
Hypocrisy is everywhere and dont ask why less and less people
follow that sport.
What the problem if there is one (or more) GP off the calendar?
The last GP with that stupid loss for Hamilton is the clear proof that
pilots are only puppets of strategy, without initiative of their own.

FERRARI is steadily climbing up thks to Mr Vettel

Re: The Formula One Thread

I dig up that thread from the forum to spread the BIG BREAKING NEWS
FRANCE is due to have a GP ….in FORMULA E
Paris joins Formula E calendar for 2015/16 season
On April 23rd,2015 in the capital, we hope the event to be a success!

Meantime nothing relevant to say about the present boring Mercedes F1 season- as they reap everything

Still hope Ferrari to go on progressing!

just REMEMBER AND MOURN

JULES BIANCHI died on 17th of july.He was just 25

The talented young french pilot suffered nine mths of a long agony following the collision of his Marussia with a crane,in doubtful conditions, on the circuit of Suzuka,Japan last october.

The last F1 pilot dead in a circuit accident was Ayrton Senna in May,1994 at Imola,Italy

Re: The Formula One Thread

Every life is one too many [and MercBenz boasting about major speed increases as from 2017]. It is interesting that the Senna fatality was a huge break from the bi-annual [2 fatalities that same weekend in 1994] and to scale up safety by orders of magnitude.

Re: The Formula One Thread

Time to bump this! Congrats to Haas F1, scoring points in their debut! First American team since Parnelli and Penski in the 70s (I think). Also, they are the first American constructor to win points in its first F1 race and the first constructor overall since Toyota Racing in 2002 to record points in its debut

Yes, that was a horrible crash! There wasn't much left of the car. They showed how the car broke up in slow motion. I'm glad he's ok!

Re: The Formula One Thread

Happy for ALONSO to escape safe.
Still in our heart for the long time he spend with Ferrari.
With the lead of Vettel the reds cud bite on Mercedes'supremacy.

I share your big applause for the successful new entry of a yankee team since decades.
But dont forget a little french- the only one this season-was behind the wheel.
So much criticized in earlier times Romain Grosjean reaps a very
good 6th place.
We wish him and Haas more success this season
