It's what, as kids, we used to wear for PE !!!
Just before we ate the Gruel (OK Spam Fritters) biggrin
I know ... I'm old.

Someone has to knock the serene Hamilton off his perch otherwise it is a straight swap this year for a Mansell, Schumacher, Vettel (and briefly Button)

I thought we'd passed the engine homologation deadline whistling

wink

Nice race... did Maldonardo "The Venezuelan Menace" finish?

Vettel's post race text from Mark Webber biggrin

Re: The Formula One Thread

Mercedes duo again ...
FIA changing regulations to prevent this type of monopoly seem useless.BORING !
Ferrari will never catch up i am afraid
and even with the maestria of Vettel ,Ricciardo is the leader of that team

Re: The Formula One Thread

Nico is needled

No one is going to knock the smile off Daniel

and Hamilton looks unbeatable

Good to see the Ferrari back in the hunt

Maldonardo's antics continue

(The 2nd best contest of the weekend. The other was won by a whisker and the Netherlands were robbed smile )

Re: The Formula One Thread

Is everyone ready for Monaco? For this week's location, I offer a "Where's Waldo" challenge. Can anyone find one or more of these at Monaco?

1. Find a vessel in Monaco harbor that cost less than 5 million Euros.
2. Find any woman that is not wearing way too much eye makeup.
3. Find anyone without a flute of Champagne.
4. Find any spectator staying in a tent.
wink

Enjoy this huge racing weekend; Monaco (F1), Indy 500 (Indy Car) and Coca Cola 600 (NASCAR). Something for every motorsport lover.
Cheers!

ROSBERG deserves this big MUMM bottle !!
a third shud come to break this monotony of a Mercedes season
Wud it be Ricciardo or Alonso?
Pleased to see Majo Alonso driving with such maestria to finish 4 with a slower car.

Re: The Formula One Thread

I thought on this shorter, slower circuit RB and Ferrari would do much better. It was not so. sad Mercedes seems to dominate at any speed now. At least it was not Lewis again. smile

My ratings for the races (1-5)
F1 = 3
Indy 500 = 5 (great race!)
NASCAR = 1 (boring!)
Cheers!

Re: The Formula One Thread

WooHoo ... the best race of the season so far. This one had everything from technical problems, plenty of passing, and a spectacular crash on the last lap.
P1 - Ricciardo
P2 - Rosberg
P3 - Vettel
Red Bull breaks the Mercedes winning streak!
On to Austria ...
Cheers!
