Yes, it is very serious.
We hope and pray that Schumi makes a full recovery.

Even in the new turbo days the F1 Verbal Tic lives on "For sure"

For sure I expect to see the output of for sure's to increase and for for sure reliability to improve throughout the season for sure.

It's going to be staggering to see what level of for sure's Renault powered teams will be able to produce by the end of 2014 for sure.

biggrin

This is going to be a great season of F1

Re: The Formula One Thread

F1Season open today in Australia. Revival of that thread !
Let see if new rules, new cars, change the competition
Last year we were used to see Majo Alonso starting often in 5th or 6th
postion but finishing better.
Not for Vettel. Global view might be clearer after 3 or for races
Happy Grand Prix to all F1 fans !

Re: The Formula One Thread

Bravo Rosberg !!!
Majo Alonso sticked to that 5th position!
Just remember Schumi in 2004 doing it in 1h22'
Rosberg 1h 32' ten years after!

Re: The Formula One Thread

The first Australian Grand Prix I didn't fall asleep half way through biggrin

It's on at an unearthly hour in the UK

That was fun with the suspense of unreliability making a welcome return

What happen here ? http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/formula1/26601418

I thought they set off with 100kg of fuel. If the race took Daniel Ricciardo 1hr 33mins and 0.66 seconds then on average he must have used less than 64.51 Kg fuel per hour which is considerably less than the 100kg/hour limit

100Kg is ~31 Gallons Imp for reference

2014 is going to be great

Re: The Formula One Thread

Last year it was pb of tyres now it is pb of sensor and oil savings
drivers using less the drs and hesitating to pass ahead of one's another.
and the sound of V6 dont mirror what a F1 race might be !

too much electronics technology kill the race and increase boredom

yes ten years after they finish 10 mn later, thats a lot

i hope we will not see drivers frustrated of their efforts -like Ricciardo-
in the hours of champagne celebrations
