nice t6o see you lot
----------------------------------------sparking off each other finished " at about 17.00hrs last of my peeps taken home will pick them up on thursday again meal tonight some salmon and New potatoes from heaven knows where ****************************** When a force acts upon an object to cause a displacement of the object, it is said that work was done upon the object. There are three key ingredients to work - force, displacement, and cause. In order for a force to qualify as having done work on an object, there must be a displacement and the force must cause the displacement. There are several good examples of work which can be observed in everyday life - a horse pulling a plow through the field, a father pushing a grocery cart down the aisle of a grocery store, a freshman lifting a backpack full of books upon her shoulder, a weightlifter lifting a barbell above his head, an Olympian launching the shot-put, etc. In each case described here there is a force exerted upon an object to cause that object to be displaced. ************ As if you care ************ Hi Ho Folks ******************* After a sleepless night cogitating on the lack of heat in my house I went and gave the pump next to the boiler a gentle thump known in the trade as impact adjustment so sad I didnt think it through earlier like two days before Pcture it Mr & Mrs Snaps huddled under duvets dragging round the house mittens scarves and Night caps then all it took was a Kick in the slats.... ********************* Anyway up kids We can see the new year like 2008 Australia has already got to the year change as I guess has Haapi *************** speaking of which HAAPI need your Snailmail Addy you could find a bright and light missile coming your way This means any one of the teddie bent peeps BTW you are missing a wunnerfull FREE Gift if you want a " Snappy " gift send your addy to denbray@hotmail.com ---------------------------------------- [Edit 3 times, last edit by densnaps at Dec 31, 2007 8:40:32 PM] |

Evening all and a very happy and healthy New Year.
No high jinks here, we'll do as usual and open a bottle of champagne around eleven, light the candles on the Christmas tree try not to watch the awful programmes that TV seems to find inevitable and then give ourselves a hug at midnight, pleased that we've managed to last another year and then bed. Long gone are the days when I enjoyed partying through to four in the morning. |
