Re: The Edwardians have arrived!

Howdy y'all... Hope everyone is enjoying the Holiday Season... wink Sometime in the next two days I'll be adding another Quad to replace the one that went Kaput awhile back... Wonder if I should put two heatsinks and fans on this one? thinking devilish

Poor old puss cat who roams the grounds at work
managed to find his way into the house as soon as we came back after the break

pitiful cries
I had to come home and find some kitty food for him

Brass monkey (n. phr.) A brass trolley, formerly used in the Royal Navy to carry powder and balls into low ceilinged gun emplacements.

Re: The Edwardians have arrived!

Evening all
Still a bit damp and windy down here in the Smoke but I think it's getting colder again.

Watched The History Boys for the second time on BBC2 last evening and reflected that there's another treasure. Alan Bennett has entertained me in television, radio, books and film for so long it's impossible to think of him not being permanently around.

By chance, daughter No 2 teaches at his old school in Leeds although it's no longer the old Victorian edifice as they demolished that a few years back and built a brand new one in the grounds. I did, however, have a tour round the original which seemed to be real sturdy Yorkshire style.
