It is a Supermicro X7DB8 series board. This one has on board Dual SCSI, 6 SATA, and supports up to 32 GB of RAM. I have another 4 GB of RAM for the system, but until it gets upgraded to Advanced Server the operating system wont see it all. I have spare parts to make another server. The only thing I didn't get full backups of are the hard drives. This one is running a Mirror of of 73 GB SCSI drives for the OS and a RAID 10 array of 3 drives each at 146 GB giving me a total storage of about 490 GB of free space for DATA and Applications. Also running the 256 MB Zero Slot RAID controller for faster drive rebuilds if a drive should fail.

I use the Supermicro X7DAE and 4GB of RAM with mine - nothing quite like the sight of 8 WU's crunching at once biggrin

Roger goes on manuvers with Courineslegs at the Hoe Down. But teams still ranks in the top 50 after return and will be moving up. Current position:77 BOINC at WCG. If CourinesLegs returns, we should move to the low 60's before slowing ascent.

where is courine?

im still recovering. i can sit up to eat, but i still have to type with one hand. thus my not so lengthly postings.

il be better soon, just disclocated ribs are slow to heal. and its perfered that no meds be used. so, lets just say, this is not something i would wish on my worst enemy.
