Hey Ya All
Courine, I suffered similiar injuries on BART many, many years ago. One thing that will definitely accelerate your recovery is to get a cane, once you are truly ambulatory, and use it favoring the injured side. If your left ribs were dislocated, use it with your left arm, and vice versa. If both sides of the cage wer injured, use both arms equally. Believe me, it will be painful at first. but your recovery time will go down quite a bit, and the quality of your recovery will be fantastic. No I'm really not being sadistic. Just learned from the school of hard knocks! Great crunching, people! ![]() |

That Cadbury clip is great. I'm forwarding it to our worship leader.
----------------------------------------We used to call one of our former drummers "animal" because he reminded us of the Muppet character Animal when he played. Unfortunately, his style of play ripped out most of his back, shoulder, and arm joints to where he can't play much anymore. |

Hey, aint no thing! Was fun writing the script. Will be back in the comentators seat for races in the near future. Just now I have to pick up the peices from being sick. Oh and 7, i use the tape and cane trick, but I would still be in bed if I moved any more than I have. I've kept it to 5 min out of bed for every 4hr in.
----------------------------------------What had happend was I got a bit ticked at my other half. There was no altercation, but the screeming and ranting went on for a while. Long enough to wear on a weak spot from a past injury. I heard the pop but I wasnt finshed. Being somewhat charged up, it took a bit to notice the pain setting in , and setting in, and setting in......... so I set it and put an ace on it so I could sleep. I wake to notice that there was much more damage than the rib. The diaphram and colon mussels were also involved. That is why so much bed rest. I had to even keep activities like beathing to a minimum. What was worse, the weather turned hot and couldnt drink enough to prevent cramping. Then eating became a nightmare. So, if there was a question on why I had to slow down, there wasnt much choice. The sad part is i had some scripts almost done and had material to finsh the race. I just couldnt stay up long enough to type it. Even after extending the keyboard. As it was still too much. I was lucky to just read the posts. One of the scripts was with Geraldo Rivara outside the track where the massive DPC herd had gathered. He had made into the herd to do a special report, promising the lead cow a fair and honest composite of how it all came to be. And of course, being that he is from the deep inner city, speaks pefect cow. He, after getting the trust of the main group, is allowed to translate the feeling they have about the words: Steak (herd grumbles) Ground Beef (louder grumbeling) and (said with much distane) VEAL!!!! Oh, and the pitstop where Olivia finds out that the mud on her windscreen, isnt mud. And after some quick halo straightening by Diane, returns to the race. And now dear Ady. You need not repay anything. Roger's and CourinesLegs' tag works like a a sticker on a race car. The reason why I didnt stick a machine myself is I need to look un bias, as I was running the thread. And in doing so, was able to promo the concept better. Turning the game into something much more than submarine races. So please Ady, I cant take the points of an indentured servent. In turn though, We will always welcome you as as an honored VIP, as your status preceeds you. Please stay and fullfill your term if you like, as more is always good here. But do it knowing no bond. Serving not as a slave but as a warrior on a mission of honor, and my personal guest ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Once this workhorse is needed in production, WCG/BOINC will be coming off. Might be another week or so.
