I am posting from the 'new to me' dual Xeon 2.66Ghz.
It downloaded 2 units and shows about 5 hours per unit processing time.
Not too bad.
-----------
It appears the workunits are about 35-40% faster on the 2.66Ghz XEON CPU vs the P4-2.53Ghz machine that was on this desk. And with 2 CPUs, it does 2 at a time.
I shipped the P4 home to my son after making sure the repairs were successful.

Re: Month 4 stats: Team makes 2 million BOINC credits as it passes 80K WCG results mark!!

Roger goes on manuvers with Courineslegs at the Hoe Down. But teams still ranks in the top 50 after return and will be moving up. Current position:77 BOINC at WCG. If CourinesLegs returns, we should move to the low 60's before slowing ascent.

MonsterMash making major moves. Massive machine maker?

Geez, it looks like you are getting almost as many points from your few systems as I am from 60+. That is some real horsepower!
I am going to have to research the board in my Xeon machine and see if (maybe with a BIOS update) it would run dual or quad core Xeons.
IBM doesn't seem to have much information on their site, I may have to open it up & get the number off the board.
They list newer Intellistation Pro Z series, but not mine.

I see the Q6600 with an Intel board bundle is down to $389 today.
Another couple months and it might be affordable! LOL

Re: Thank You angel

Morning all - just popping in for a short while to repay my debt to Roger The Dodger and this team for the points he contributed on behalf of the Christians during the recent challenge.

I hope you don't mind the intrusion smile
