Re: Gold Silver Bronze

a 100 year badge??? I think that's the largest they give now. Some are requesting some higher numbers.

Re: Gold Silver Bronze

I have tried a few different recommended things but so far, it is still stuck. It will run, but just not access the internet.

Have you tried a different or updated driver for the wifi card ?
Treatment is finished. PSA was only 0.2 for the last year so that minimum level is considered a success. I hope it stays there.

Don't we all. I was told different labs have different sensitivities in their testing equipment so if whoever is doing the testing uses different labs or the current lab updates their equipment, the level may differ slightly over time. Just as long as as it does not show an increasing trend over time. Congratulations on the first year.
Cheers

Re: Gold Silver Bronze

As you can now set limits for each project it should be easier to get HST.
Suggest set 1.7 days cache then adjust numbers of other projects so less days, say 1, loaded so always room for HST.
With timed requests, was around xx:17 and xx:47, you should get more HST.

Paul.

I am not sure there even is one. When nothing was happening, the computer repair store it came from gave me a tiny USB wifi plugin. I may have to just pay for a repair and let them deal with it. It was a used computer.
At the store, it was cabled to the router, so it wasn't doing wifi.

I took it back to the computer repair store, which cleaned up some corrupted issues from before and got the wi-fi working. One little USB wi-fi thingy was also bad, so didn't help.

Anyway, I have 8 new threads crunching away now.

Re: Gold Silver Bronze

I picked up a little more computing power last year.

I have desktop computers running (Win7 on old AMD) 6 threads, (Win7 Intel) 8 threads, (Win10 Intel) 12 threads, and one ruggedized Intel Win7 laptop running 4 threads at half speed to keep the heat level manageable.

Another second hand Intel Win10 8 core or thread game computer is being cranky. There seems to be some well known problem getting Win10 on WiFi. It doesn't see any networks, even though it is sitting right next to another computer that does. Even the other Win10 computer connects properly. I have tried a few different recommended things but so far, it is still stuck. It will run, but just not access the internet.

The computer repair shop got the wi-fi going and cleaned up some crud from before
That is 8 more threads online now on another Win 10 64 bit machine. It is 4 GHz so should spit them out a little faster. I am still hunting for Help Stop TB and getting a few now and then. In the meantime a couple of days worth of other projects keeps things busy. I will know more in a day or to about how much I am contributing to the team.

Re: Gold Silver Bronze

If you want to help kick up the result count, Smash Childhood Cancer is running some very tiny workunits. I am blasting some out in 5 minutes or less, and I notice a big spike in my own and the team's daily numbers already. As usual, if you only run one project, watch it closely in case there is a gap in workunits. I will be out of town for a couple weekends but do check frequently. I had been grabbing small sets of workunits while hunting for HST, but with this new thing, I will run small workunits as long as they keep sending.

Re: Gold Silver Bronze

SCC has shifted to rigid docking instead of the flexible docking until the current batch runs out. The workunits will remain tiny for awhile. They may run out of workunits temporarily, so I will watch carefully since I am only running a single project for a couple of weeks or until these little workunits end.

I am running 34 threads and yesterday submitted 5,279 results.

The whole team submitted 7,495 results yesterday.

Re: Gold Silver Bronze

SCC has run out, so there is a gap in that project until they make more, which will be a more typical length. I pushed the team up a few points in results because I was only running the short SCC for about 25 days.

Total Run Time (y:d:h:m:s) (Rank) 1248:223:12:15:59 (#121)
Points Generated (Rank) 1,552,552,405 (#122)
Results Returned (Rank) 3,226,834 (#114)

You're welcome.

Re: Gold Silver Bronze

SCC is still in their project gap, waiting for new material.
Open Zika is essentially finished with nothing coming down the pipe.
HSTB gives a workunit rarely.
MIP has plenty of work.
MCM has plenty of work.
FA@H2 is kind of a queue hog with a short deadline, so I can only run a few at once. They will keep anything else from running unless you keep one or more open threads.
ARP is the new one, with some long running programs. They are being distributed more randomly now, not at set times. I don't see many, but I have run as many as six concurrently. This one has a large resource requirement, so check closely if you are tight on memory and disk space.

I am running 46 threads now. 8 are on an old computer at 80% CPU time and 4 are on a laptop at 50% to keep down the heat buildup.
