I have re-installed the WCG software on one of my PCs twice. Now, the device name for that PC shows up in my WCG device manager 3 times. There appears no way to delete the previous 2. How can I delete the 2 that are no longer valid, and just keep the 1 for the last install?

I think that unused devices start to age off your page after 2 weeks. They remain in the database and will suddenly pop back up if a result is returned from them. I am not certain about this, it is just something from a vague memory.

Terminator,
Due to the way that the World Community Grid Agent operates, it creates a new device record each time a device is registered. This means that if you install the agent several times on the same computer, there will be multiple devices listed. As lawrencehardin mentioned, the default view for your list of devices shows only those devices that were registered in the past week or returned a result in the past two weeks. The extra devices that you registered will disappear from that view after a week unless they return a result. You can change which devices are shown on the page by using the drop downs at the top of the page. |

Hey TERminator,Thx KN... since I have had problemz w/ running on my $25 128MB flash stick, I have had to deleted two resultz-out-a-12 and RELOADED 4 timez; therefore, I am stuck w/ 4 DEVICES now - when ONLY one pc is shared w/ me and CaJuNQuEen. does that help??
