Only one point created?

Hi,

I have installed the client on an second device, but since today (two weeks ago installed) the client created only 1 Point in 6 min something runtime.
Every 30 sec the client connects again and starts again.
Any idea?

confused Re: Only one point created?

Lets start with a few questions.
1) Has this device ever worked successfully since installation?
2) If it has, then have you changed the profile?
3) If not, have you tried uninstalling the WCG software, then reinstalling it?
4) Did you accept the default profile, or did you create your own?
5) What sort of security programs (firewall / anti-virus) do you have?
6) Is there a router on yor connection?
7) Is there a message on the WCG Agent if you click on the icon to maximize it?
8) Have you read the Trobleshooting pages in the FAQs?

Sorry if this seems like an inquisition, but please give us some additional information.

Curiously,
Lawrence

Re: Only one point created?

Someone I know tried running in a windows emulator on Linux, and his stats say 10 minutes total processing time, 62 workunits completed, total points = 2

So another question would be what are the specs of the computer you are running it on?
