Need some minor help with some html code to promote WCG

Came across some old posts in different forums where I had provided a link to my website. Later I shortened the name, but as a result, that longer link no longer works. I could just go back and add a duplicate page using both URLs, but everytime I make a revision, I'll need to change both. I know that there is some html code that I can place on the longer link to automatically send viewers to the other page. Can anyone tell me what that code is?

Your help will be appreicated, and hopefully will also help the WCG if anyone happens to try that obsolete link.

Thanks.

Here are the guidelines from the W3C, together with links explaining how to do it on your particular web server: http://www.w3.org/QA/Tips/reback

Re: Need some minor help with some html code to promote WCG

Thanks, "D". After reading that, and how redirects can break the "back" button, etc., I decided the easiest way, since I don't have any access to my server, is how I'm proceeding here. Not very professional as far as web design goes, but it should still work okay, shouldn't it? The only reason I didn't do that to begin with is that I didn't realize how a redirect could cause problems with the back button. For anyone else reading this, I think what that means is that if you, let's say, click on a link on Website No. 1, which brings you to my website, and then you decide to use your back button to return to Website No. 1, if I have not used the correct type of redirect, you will just repeatedly keep coming to my site, and won't have the ability to get back to Website No. 1. Been there before, and I know how exasperating it can be.

Cheers.
