Re: Any available work??

Trekker,

first port of call is the systems requirements page. Second, u don't tell us what system u run on....BOINC or UD Agent (aka WCG Agent). The Folding is not going to start on BOINC until later.

Your comments suggests u are on BOINC. No, we dont publish the 'unsent' work. U select the projects u want to participate in here and the servers will send work ad-random as to what is available at the moment.

You need to go to the front page www.wcgrid.org and hit the buttons at top of page for the various entry points of information. Then drilling deeper, in the left margins there are many entries you can click to find out more. There is a big Statistics Button too.....it's on all the pages at the top!

cheers

Re: Any available work??

Hi Trekker.

Just to add to Sekarob's comments.
The HDC work is not always available as it takes a long time to prepare each batch. None available atm.

The folding work is suspended on BOINC for the next couple of weeks while some bugs are ironed out with the rosetta project.

Please feel free to help with the AIDS project while u wait. The others will be along shortly.

Cheers. ozylynx smile

Hi
You'll also need to pick up on the jargon. WU stands for Work Unit, here is one for Fight Aids At Home (faah): faah0890_ bdb478_ mx4phv_ dry_ 00. As noted earlier the Human Protene Folding Project (HPFP2) phase 2 is down for software maintenance. It's been down for several weeks now.
The best way to find out stuff is to surf around the site and read the forums to see what problems others have had. You'll learn a lot.
Welcome and have fun.
