Re: Resuming Human Proteome Folding 2 this weekend

Thanks for the link. I followed it and read the paper - it reinforced my belief in the scientific side of the project.

Believe to have seen yesterday that there is still work to be done and also read, that the BOiNC version will have graphics, same as FAAH, GC and HDC. Still expecting it first to be launched in Beta as this one is just plain hard-headed..... reticent maybe a better english word.

Well Keithhenry.... if u were as tired posting this question as what u suggested in your other sneakernet post, i'll excuse U (hmblm).... Here's links to the Beta threads:

Announcements: https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread?thread=10221
Discussion: https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread?thread=10225

stand by as the seasons greetings will inundate your doormat

ciao

PS, did leave a query in the back room..... meantime i'm folding on a second thread with WCG(UD) agent and they're doing fine... they have an odd 'give way' habit needing resolution too ;>)

Re: Resuming Human Proteome Folding 2 this weekend

Uh oh. Yep, at my age, the connections between my brain and the rest of my body resemble those of an American cell phone company wink When I get tired, it can get rather interesting biggrin Nothing negative meant or implied. I just recalled the initial expectation that HPF2 on BOINC was expected in 2-3 weeks and was curious. Thanks for the beta threads. I should have thought to look there too (DOH). I expect that the poor admins have been stretched 42 ways to Sunday on a good day lately.

Re: Resuming Human Proteome Folding 2 this weekend

Well, now that the holidays are over and the fires seem to be out, does anyone have any projection as to when we'll see HPF2 WUs on BOINC? Nothing new in the Beta threads. I'm just curious.

Re: Resuming Human Proteome Folding 2 this weekend

Let's see... the gang should be back this week, full complement and in business attire and all other projects are running without much upheaval. Hope it will be with use of the compression feature of BOINC..... get yourself ready with version 5.4.9/5.4.11 for that :D

Edit: inserted 'version'
