The maximum number of points per hour is close to 40, which has to do with the overall rating beeing capped at 200.
http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/join_now/points_system.html While any individual parameter can overachieve the corresponding parameter for World Community Grid Comparison Device by any level, no work unit completed by any machine will earn more than twice the total number of points World Community Grid Comparison Device would earn for that same work unit. However, some manage to get slightly more: http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/stat/viewStatsByMemberAVG.do http://www.grid.org/stats/members/points_per_cpu_time.htm Rank Member Name Average Points 1 Sakura 40.00184 |

Maybe I should add, that the maximum will be near 40, if the website isn't rounding values in [0.5, 1[ to 1 point. (Which is the case when work units are abandoned early. Then I would the expect the maximum to be near 80)
----------------------------------------Perhaps that's one of the reasons, why the rules for this table are more restrictive at grid.org: http://www.grid.org/stats/members/points_per_cpu_time.htm (Minimum: 20 Results Returned, At Least 1 Within Last 30 Days) [Edit 1 times, last edit by u12349768 at Jan 31, 2005 1:44:01 AM] |
