Eh, who know's who's i7 it is (possibly the Shadow), but truthfully as long as we are picking up and putting down workunits to find a cure/treatment/drug, it's all gravy! Keep on Crunching... Hmm, reminds me, time to give a quick shout out to WCG on twitter - see if we can get more people involved. I'd like to see WCG putting up more cycles/hour than even Seti@home! Actually you can be pretty sure whose machine by matcching total credits. Here are the top four team machines. Rank Name Hosts Recent average credit Total credits Total credits per CPU Recent average credit per CPU 1 Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 965 @ 3.20GHz 1 3,960 502,388 502,387.55 3,960.22 2 Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 920 @ 2.67GHz 1 2,693 78,824 78,823.69 2,693.33 3 AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 940 Processor 1 1,977 136,271 136,270.91 1,976.83 4 Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q9450 @ 2.66GHz 1 1,966 588,035 588,035.26 1,965.95 Here are the top four machines from my view. Rank CPU Operating system Number of CPU`s Recent average credit BOINC Cross Project IDentifier Total credits active 1 GenuineIntel - Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 965 @ 3.20GHz [Intel64 Family 6 Model 26 Stepping 4] Microsoft Windows Vista 8 4,058.80 efb3f2e915b81f8375b5633a9b54b232 508,417.12 2 GenuineIntel - Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 920 @ 2.67GHz [Family 6 Model 26 Stepping 4] Linux 8 2,723.78 ff8e4c483d12facbb7582fd60e902f60 82,318.88 3 GenuineIntel - Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q9450 @ 2.66GHz [x86 Family 6 Model 23 Stepping 7] Microsoft Windows Vista 4 1,977.35 2996ee01ef353fd72462b615e5ea826b 590,194.60 4 AuthenticAMD - AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 940 Processor [x86 Family 16 Model 4 Stepping 2] Microsoft Windows XP 4 1,949.71 873d043842bfbdd78885dff2e7cdb3c4 138,590.33 Although not exact, you can see total credits match pretty close to mine. - Mitch ---------------------------------------- ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Ok so looking at this view: http://www.allprojectstats.com/top.php?projek...type=12&teamid=188136 How the heck does the Phenom(tm) II X4 940 manage to get an "average credit per CPU" 4-5 times higher than the other quad core CPUs??? Is it cryogenically frozen and overclocked to 8ghz or something? ![]() OK nevermind, I'll chalk it up to some weirdness in BOINC... looking at the WCG stats instead things are much more as expected: http://www.allprojectstats.com/top.php?projek...p;type=12&teamid=6206 I never saw that view before. If that is the WCG view of our team, I may have the top four machines. I think these are all mine. 1 Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 965 @ 3.20GHz 1 3,960 502,388 502,387.55 3,960.22 2 Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 920 @ 2.67GHz 1 2,693 78,824 78,823.69 2,693.33 3 AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 940 Processor 1 1,977 136,271 136,270.91 1,976.83 4 Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q9450 @ 2.66GHz 1 1,966 588,035 588,035.26 1,965.95 I guess I am helpling the team out! ![]() Eh, who know's who's i7 it is (possibly the Shadow), but truthfully as long as we are picking up and putting down workunits to find a cure/treatment/drug, it's all gravy! Keep on Crunching... Hmm, reminds me, time to give a quick shout out to WCG on twitter - see if we can get more people involved. I'd like to see WCG putting up more cycles/hour than even Seti@home! BOINCSTATS shows 1 i7 965 and 3 i7 920's Intel(R) Core(tm) i7 CPU 965 @ 3.20GHz 1 560,385.16 5,323.42 560,385.16 5,323.42 0.035678 Intel(R) Core(tm) i7 CPU 920 @ 2.67GHz 3 165,988.12 4,467.85 55,329.37 1,489.28 0.006739 There are a quite a few of you with some impressive crunching power. Keep up all of the fine work. Cheers

Darn...
----------------------------------------I cannot attach my latest environment to WCG, there is some limitation to have only 80 result per CPU / day, so I cannot use clustering on that sense... I think I need to attach those to EUforia or something... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zut9-GInMQA&feature=related Accumulated Points: 49,588,225 edited for language...cih ![]() [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at May 11, 2009 11:52:28 AM] |

BTW very stirring music, I liked it. Cheers edited for language...cih
