Re: Minnesota Crunchers

My truck has 20 inch tires. The donut is a 17 inch. Going to research mounting systems for the bed so I don't get my tire stolen. Ever here of a take off tire? Dealerships have these for sale from folks buying new vehicles but want different tires. Won't brake up the set though. Cheap too. Didn't want to buy 4 tires. 100 bucks a pop less rim.
glad your mom didn't fall for those idiots trying to sell her something she did not need. They tried to take advantage of her. I would have contacted the district manager and raised hell.

That size can be pretty pricey, $100.00 a pop is not bad. Too bad they would not sell you just one. Check the junkyards, sometimes they will have new or nearly new tires along with the rim too. The bed mount sounds like a good idea. Good luck.

Cheers

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

I just got some sad news. One of my cousins, with whom I grew up has developed stage 4 otopharyngeal cancer. He is a year younger than I am, but we played on some of the same teams. One of the many reasons I devote the bulk of my resources to cancer projects. I don't know his prognosis, but hope whatever treatment he is getting is successful.
Based on the new update from the HFCC project there will be a phase 2 for that. So there will be plenty of cancer crunching for the foreseeable future.

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

Sorry to hear.
I'm all in to put my resources on this!

And we appreciate your contribution.

I spent Sunday putting up my Christmas lights and decorating some outdoor trees with colorful plastic jar lids. Turns out it was just in time as on Monday night we got our first substantial snow of the season. Heavy wet snow. At least the temperature stayed at or above 32F(0C), so some it will melt and the streets weren't too bad. Got about 5 inches(12.5cm). Now it looks like winter. It is supposed to stay mild for the next several days but the cold blast is probably just waiting in the wings to swoop down on us in a short time.

Cheers

I echo these sentiments. I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a happy, joyful, peaceful season.
I have been quite busy this year, much moreso than anticipated. It seems more people more often are scheduling my time. I am busier than when I was working. Some if it is of my own making, because I do like to volunteer and I will continue to do so as long as my services are still being useful. Anyway it is better than sitting and vegetating.
Oh, and by the way, congratulations to Bearcat for the 5 year mark in FAAH2.
Cheers
