Might want to do a little research on that unit to see if there were any recalls or something that could possibly get you some relief. The way you described it, sounds defective. Maybe even write the company. When my big screen tv (older rear projection) went bad, was about to go by another until I found out they were defective and had a class action law suit against sony. Ended up with a nice 55 inch LCD for 250 bucks but the real cost for tv was 2200. This was about 3 years ago. Worth a try Joe.

I appreciate the heads up, but I don't think this is going to be the case. i will check on the issue anyway. I was told by both the initial tech who came out in the middle of the night and by the guy who installed the new one that I had probably already exceeded the design life of the old furnace by at least a couple of years. But still that is good advice to see if there were any recalls on it. Thanks Cheers
