Re: Minnesota Crunchers

Good luck with yet another snowstorm, Minnesotans! I hope there isn't ice with it!

We haven't had any more snow in the last few days, but have had thunderstorms. The veterinary clinic we use was struck by lightning, which knocked out their computer system (and access to all their patient records), fax, and phone. I

That's bad. I hope it did not fry everything. And if it did I hope they have a backup.

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

Well, we had snow this morning, and now we have freezing rain. By the way the radar looks we are just on the edge and it is moving to the northeast. And non too soon either. It looks like a large clearing patch is headed up from the south. Maybe we will get some sun tomorrow.
Cheers

I hope the storm moved on out without leaving much ice!

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

Sunny and warmer today. A forecast high of 41°F / 5°C tomorrow with 90% chance of rain. My skeet team could have shot today, but nooooo...we have to be cold and wet!

Might have been our token day of sun for the week. Freezing rain and snow set for tomorrow. Yay, big whoop.
Cheers

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

Looking at the radar, looks like Iowa is getting hammered pretty good with rain. Let us know how it goes kate. Who ever is asking for more snow around here needs to knock it off. 4 to 7 inches of snow through friday. This is getting real old folks. (Done with cranky rant). wink

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

Thanks for asking, Bearcat! My husband and I haven't had any problems, but some people in our county did today:

Luckily the water went down quickly, but we're supposed to get a few more inches of rain over the next couple days so there could well be more flash flooding.

I hope the snow will stop in Minnesota one of these days. Tomorrow night, there's supposed to be snow even down here!
