Re: Minnesota Crunchers

Received 8 inches around clearwater. Wet blue and already melting. Anyone want to get a hunting group together and hunt down that rat (Punxsutawney Phil) for lying its tail off on an early spring forecast? I hear it tastes like chicken. laughing

Officially in St Cloud we got 8.2 inches(20.8cm), but we measured on the car trunk and it said a full 10 inches(25.4cm). I wish Punxsutawney Phil had been here to shovel it. laughing

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

Well.....I have to brag.

Points Generated (Rank) 1,000,590,414 (#26)

Over a Billion points and ranked 26 in the world!

But the fun is almost over. HCC and GPU processing is going to end in 16 days. GPU processing had a lot to do with my rank. I expect a rank of 26 will be my high water mark, because once GPU processing ends I will be slipping in the ranks,

Let me congratulate you. That is an impressive total no matter which way you cut it. There are very few individuals who make the ten digit club. Way to go!!!.

Thanks, and of those 1 Billion points, 959,207,547 went to the team! It will be close as to whether I will earn 1 Billion team points before HCC and GPU processing ends.

Wow! Congratulations!! And after the success of HCC1, I am sure there will be more WCG GPU projects coming in the future.

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

Congrats on the points. Well deserved for your investment. I pulled the plug early on HCC1 in hoping the newer crunchers can get some. Going back to my goals of 10 yrs for each project thats available to crunch.
Ready for more snow? Looks like we have a storm watch for tomorrow night to sunday. Up to 9 inches. Looks like a mix first so hopefully less snow pack. Did you see what happened at worthington? That's one heck of an ice storm. That's some wicked stuff. Stay safe everyone. wink
