Always great to see another cruncher join the team. Welcome aboard.
----------------------------------------Corsair finally got back to me and shipped my PSU. Unfortunately it won't be here until friday. With going under the knife again friday, decided to drive to micro center and grab one. Waiting on a hard drive to come in before installing boinc.
Crunching for humanity since 2007!

Forecast highs below zero? It should be easy to keep the crunching machines cool this coming week! Yea, no kidding. The newspaper said we could have our first -30F(-34.4C) in over 4 years. And it will be windy also. Sounds like real winter is coming to see us for at least a few days. Sure is quiet around here lately...everyone must be in hibernation I have been very busy the last few days, running errands, visiting the sick (the flu is quite bad this time around), fixing things and assisting some college students with a statistics project. I am not strong on the statistical front, but I do understand the data sources well, so much of my assistance involves data scrubbing and helping them understand how the data pieces fit together. I learn something in the process and hopefully they do also. I seem to be busier in retirement than I was when I was working. Cheers

Well folks I haven't been at these forums in a while so thought I'd check in. My numbers dipped a bit recently because my machine with the AMD 7870 had something get corrupted in Windows causing the GPU crunching to fail in WCG and then one of the 2TB drives in the RAID-5 array failed. Got the drive replaced earlier this week and decided to just restore the backup of the boot drive from about 10 days ago and it's crunching fine again. The AMD A8 in my laptop continues to GPU crunch as well. Sadly the 7770 in my other machine has never worked as a GPU cruncher, tried all kinds of stuff. Maybe it is because that is Win2008R2 instead of Win7? Who knows. Games all run fine on it. :)
