Re: The Almost 60,000 CPU days a day thread :D

Our team (Clubic) is just a team that is based on the bigest website on new technologies in France.
Most of the members just reads the news of the website, so reading the news they do what it says, and don't go furthur... so they mostly never go on the only thread that talks about WCG !
I'm in that team for more then 1 year and i've been on that thread only 4-5 times...
So it's not an active team, but have a huge potentiel of members thats why we grow up so fast.

@JmBoullier : But your team has a biger potential with the TV support (with téléthon) but dont talk about it at that event... I hope they will talk avout it this year, it will bring thousands of members in your team !
If you remember at the 1st phase in 2001-2002 in a few weeks there where 75 000 computers working on it... imagine today it would be 3 times more ! (I participated at that phase)

It was the second best week, so the second best daily average for the week.

Someone send me a link to a you tube video on the bathing rituals of wo/men. I bet u you dont have equal share, being the minority representative.... ROFL.

Don't even go there Sek. It's the one thing that causes major fallouts.

The reason I bought Spyware Doctor was on account of me taking an extra 3 minutes in the bath one morning.

Sabotaged!!!

Hi ShadowBob!

I remember. I was part of it too. I wonder if they have really tried to email all those participants this time. Maybe many no longer had valid addresses. Or maybe the project team has kept most of them for phase 2 in September. We'll see.
Also it's sure that several other WCG teams already count many of them in their members. Which is certainly better for keeping a good competitive spirit. cool
Bye. Jean

Re: The Almost 60,000 CPU days a day thread :D

Hi Jean,

If we could get the 75,000 HCMD crunchers from France to stay on board in the interim to squash numbers for the other projects in the upcoming gap of about 4 months till phase 2, that would be merveilleux.... more exiting stuff to come in spring and summer....we cant let those idle cycles go to waste.

As for March'07, just finished, we crushed the old one month record and added an average of 4 CPU years per day to the power... over 4500 CPU years in a single month.

applause

Re: The Almost 60,000 CPU days a day thread :D

If they do the same as in 2001 really i think there would be a lot more than 75000 computers added !
i supose it would be closer to 150000 computers ! so lets cross our fingers and wait till the next Téléthon in November 2007 wink
