Yep, running smoothly here since yesterday.
----------------------------------------I really couldn't get used to those close buttons on every tab, but luckily there is still about:config... ![]() ![]() |

No need for the close buttons....mouse wheel click closes the pointed tab as well :D

Yeah I know, but sometimes I have like 15 or 20 tabs open and I want to close them in 'reverse' order, so instead of moving along with each tab, I can just click the close button a few times.

Try The "Tab Catalog" Extension http://www.extensionsmirror.nl/index.php?showtopic=3990&hl=tab+catalog
----------------------------------------http://piro.sakura.ne.jp/xul/_tabcatalog.html.en ..... produces a screen of thumbnails for easy navigation (IE7 ripped this into their interface)

Firefox 3.6 is out. I'm not sure why it won't download that version automatically, at least not for me.

Now that was a really dead thread from the 6 foot deep hereafter. Think Mozilla long long stopped supporting 2.0 which may be the reason.
----------------------------------------For me, I was on the 3.6 Beta and that gave me a notification to hit the update button.

Neither FF nor IE (nor Adobe for that matter) will do an internal upgrade to a new major version 2.x -> 3.x. You get messages or emails about the new version but 'Check Updates' will only upgrade 3.1 -> 3.2

'Check Updates' will only upgrade 3.1 -> 3.2 I thought so too, but my 3.5.7 didn't update although 3.6 has been out for six days already.
