Hi , I have multiple user accounts on windows XP. I checked wen i logoff from the user account the work stops on WCGA and it resumes wen I login to that account again. Now my question is Can I have WCGA runnin at the back even if I am logged into some other user account on XP.
Thanks |

Yes.
There are a couple of ways to achieve this. The easiest is to install BOINC as a service installation. Then WCG will run whether anyone is logged in or not. If you want to stick with UD, then move the shortcut from "Startup" to "Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup". It will then start when anyone logs in. |

Dont know about XP regular, but on XP pro u can set it up so that u can open multiple sessions under different user ID's with different authorities. Requires bunches of ram to make it work unobtrusive with WCG running. Anyone logging in first will start up the agent, then switching user (Windows key + L), allows someone else to log in, without interrupting the progress.
