Re: Future Projects?

There are a number of new projects in the pipeline.

The first will be a relaunch for HPF2.

The projects under consideration include ones like those we are doing now (drug and disease related, heavily focussed on human biology) and completely different projects based in other humanitarian areas of research.

By the end of next year, I fully expect WCG to cover all the main areas of research that so many of us have discussed. And maybe some we haven't even considered.

No details, though. Don't want to raise false expectations. However, if you want a bit of advance warning, why not sign up for the beta program?

Re: Future Projects?

Timing for future projects is uncertain. The debug process for HPF2 is an obvious example of why we do not announce future project schedules. Right now, it looks as though the next 2 projects after HPF2 will both be from non-English speaking countries, so next year the World Community Grid should be justifying the World in its title. Translating the web site into Chinese, Japanese and Spanish is slipping into next year while we work on getting new projects ready.

We have a lot coming along!
