bcelmer it look like you might even beat this one posted by MLCBA a member of our team. This one generated 4386 points when it finally completed.

Don't give up it'll be worth it in the end.

All the best

That's a lot of points, all right. It will be interesting to see what this one comes back with. I don't really understand the point system, but that doesn't matter. It's still entertaining to watch the points accumulate. I participated in folding@home until the pc it was running on died. I think I had about 2000 points and 200 work units over there. Took a while, since it was (is) a 233MHz box. Maybe I'll try to resurrect it as a Linux machine this weekend, and check back in with those guys ;-)

Crunch on, Dudes...

Hey Dave

HP Pavillion 8395; 450MHz

327h 34m 59s

Received almost 3K points though.

That poor old antiquated machine should have been dropped into the recycle bin years ago but decided it should "die" doing something constructive. But so far it has managed 4 results in a month and just keeps on crunching. Every little bit helps...

I hope it gets a little quicker now that it finally picked up the new agent updates.

My other machines are much more productive.

A warm heartfelt welcome to Mr. David Autumns on becoming the first official (or nonofficial rather) member to be entitled "Community Admin"

Congrats! Talk about enthusiasm and team spirit. This guy has it all.

I could only wish that he was on my team, but the very name of the team I'm on will certainly turn off those that are not citizens here, thus the perceived division of loyalty will inevitably hinder member recruitment of various nationalities.

If "MyOnLineTeam" was a major competitor and there was no division of nations then I would have likely signed onto that team myself. However that was not the case and America (USA) was behind in the ranking of other nations and I felt a sense of national pride to sign to this team instead and contribute what I could.

Congratulations on the "promotion" and although you are clearly from the UK you could could always convert and join:America (USA)

306 hours and change, 84% complete. I thought it would be finished by Tuesday evening, but now it looks like mid-day Wednesday. If so, that would be over 360 hours (15 days).
