Does anyone have any ideas on this, I found a post suggesting changing the project to the ones that need lower system requirements, but I have done this. I have also tried re-installing the agent.
Thanks |

The agent is not actually stuck during a download. Not meeting the minimum requirements for a project is just one of the reasons why you will get that message about 3637 bytes. But you have apparently taken care of that possibility. I think another reason is that you have allocated more disk space to the agent than you actually have available.

Thanks Dagorath, I'd like to say that was the problem but when I changed the project settigns I also selected only 90Mb to be used. It was working fine with 1Gb disk allocation. I have atleast 3Gb free on all the drives. Any more ideas?

clong, I think in your profile u have to set an allocated disk space of something like 500mb or 1 gb minimum. HDC uses at times a lot. Did not know 90mb was an option in the drop down box?

Hello clong,
Sekerob is right. The minimum requirements ( http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/help/viewTopic.do?shortName=minimumreq ) state that 500 MB is the minimum disk space for HDC. I have read one post where a HDC work unit used more than 500 MB and in consequence errored out. Better use 1 GB as a minimum. Lawrence |

clong, do you have FAAH enabled?
If not, there is a good possibility that there is no work available right now. |

I have FAAH and HPF2 selected for this computer.
One of my other computers has got a work unit for FAAH..... Seems a waste not being able to crunch something!! |

Hello clong,
----------------------------------------Still at 3637 bytes? What does the Application View on your computer say about your profile? If you download Belarc Advisor ( http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html ), does it show your system meeting the minimum requirements at http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/help/viewTopic.do?shortName=minimumreq ? If everything looks good but you cannot get a work unit (and if your computer used to work all right) then you should send a 'Contact Us' report with the Device ID for knreed to check the server.
