I have been running the UD under Norton for 1.5 years with no problems. 3 weeks ago I upgraded to 2006, the Grid was working on a protien and finished the next day. Sent in the results and thats been it. The Agent does a send and receives 3743 bytes and says it's paused. The window pops up explaining it can't and come here.
I have checked everything I can think of, Norton doesn't say it's blocking. Any suggestions? Thanks, dale |

I think lawrencehardin's advice to PiA in this thread will help you too. I suspect your problem is not related to Norton.

HPF2 has been suspended temporarily to allow a number of bugs to be fixed. The bugs didn't appear during testing, and caused problems for some people. WCG did the responsible thing and pulled the project until it could be fixed.
So, if you want to get back crunching immediately, enable FAAH until HPF2 is ready to go again. I'm sorry you were inconvenienced by this. |

Hi there.
HPF1 project is finished and HPF2 project is temporarily on hold while some further software testing takes place. So unless you have any other projects selected you are unlikely to receive any work units. Your 512MB RAM is too small for the cancer project so this just leaves the FAAH Aids project that you could contribute to at the moment. Why not add FAAH to your profile at least until HPF2 comes back on stream? David. |

or you can add 256 mb ram to let it run cancer too.
