Re: BOINC

As Royden said, we crossed 2,5 million points mark this morning. Great work people! I wish I could change thread title to "Help us get our first 10,000,000 points" laughing

Re: BOINC

Must admit it seem odd to be posting in a thread that we have outgrown.

Statistically we are growing at over 1/2 Million a month smile , 10 million just might be too low to start a new threat towards, we might outgrow it quicker than we think.

Seems odd that the thread could not be renamed.

P.S. GP you seem to have moved right into that Florida Orange spot, but when I think of Florida I think of Pink Grapefruit. devilish

BOINC

BTW Sport, my Bonic hung up again today, think I am going to have to move it over to UD. Wish they would come up with a client that uses multiple CPU's.

you need to recap your sig.....I'm using boinc on a quasi multiple CPU machine {P4 BIOS set to accept multi threads}and it works just fine ...vrgldvs is running a multiple CPU machine with BOINC with no problems on 5.8.8 or later

Not my newer system that I am having the issue with, it is my older ones that I am having to convert over to UD. Boinc seems to work fine on my Dual Core.

I've relenquished my old 98 machine to run UD /WCG agent with UD Monitor set at 10 and just let it go ....because of connectivity problems I've recently taken that machine offline ....but the ud/wcg...UD Monitor combo worked VERY well!!!

Re: BOINC

Looks Like my Win98 machines will be on UD/WCG from now on, have tried to us Boinc to match my primary workstation, but just doesn't seem to work on Win98. angry

Maybe they would work better on Linux? thinking
