Now for something completely different.

Watch you northbridge, you can really heat them up when you have your system crunching for hours. Just lost a Motherboard earlier this week by cooking the northbridge. skull crying

Probally not a bad idea to at least get a heatsink on older systems, and a fan on newer ones. I put some temp probes on my systems and all of them had high temps on the northbridge. thinking

crying Yea sport, I had some problems with the boinc client a few days ago, just kind of stalled. Managed to get it working on one system, converted the other to the UD client. I will have to keep an eye on them. frustrated

Both of them are older Win98 Stations not sure if the fact they were old, or Win98 might have played a part. thinking

Orange is a better color for a Florida girl biggrin

I started my old machine [not as old as yours as it's at least got XP] on BOINC and it was miserable. Grid seems to keep it much happier. cool
