Glad you're here jfare ! Boy, you are off to a good start.
We need some more to join us soon or I fear we may drop back under our 100K days. In my work I set up PCs for projects I'm on. A couple days ago, I put 2 powerful ones on my network that I should have on till mid-late next week. They've helped my daily totals quite a bit. Wish I could keep them ! Dave, you better watch out for pitta.... right on your tail! Emily seems to be doing well.My boy is wanting his own PC and wants to join the crew. BUT since he's only 10, I'm not too comfortable with him having one in his room. I like him using the ones in the kitchen or my office.... much more out in the open. And I keep a pretty tight software security lid on them. He's saving his money anyway. Can't blame him for trying!! I like his persistence. |

Hi Marcelle
----------------------------------------With my two teenagers I've let the reins out and so far they haven't let me down on the PC Front which I'm quite happy about. I once set up my router with all manner of filtering but it just set them a challenge so instead we have an open policy but they know the rules. The only problem I have is Boyfriends who seem to be able to virus and spyware up a PC in next to no time ![]() Dave (Feeling older by the day) ![]() |

Glad you could join us Pockets . In my work, it's always nice to have another pocket....
Sorry. My boy tells me I should stay away from sharing my form of humor.... or lack there of.Well, Dave, I'm glad you've had a good go of it with your kids. I hope mine do as well. My girl is 8. I hate to think of her being a teenager with boyfriends!!! With my boy, we've gone through the whole virus/spyware stuff and I think he has a pretty good handle on it. So hopefully when gets older and visits his friends he'll be good not to whack out their PCs. |

Marcelle there's nothing like being an embarassing Father
---------------------------------------- .Me and my kids have a long running mushroom gag that they now do this face to variations on the theme of there's not much-room left on that plate!! It's true I've turned into my Father who used the same old joke so it's a real hand me down. I've spent a fortune on side orders of mushrooms along the way but it's been worth it. I'm now officially described as a "Freak" by my kids so I must be doing something right Enjoy every minute with them they accelerate upwards real quick. Dave ![]() |

Well, I had to take down the 2 temporary PCs I had set up for a customer.... bummer. They were really helping my totals. At least they help get me over the 4 million point hurdle.
How many posts do think we should have before starting another thread? Hey, we were 29th today. Still very good in my eyes. |
