That's great guys... Christians receive a lot of bad press for wanting to send the world back to the stone age, and for seeing little point in looking after the health of the Earth and for scientific progress.
This not only contributes to humanity, but also puts out a positive message about Christianity and religion in general. I would like to see teams representing other faiths on here as well.. That woudl symbolise something wonderful for humanity. |

Thanks Ian for your support for us in this endeavour it's much appreciated.
----------------------------------------While being a Bible believing Christian I do believe in divine healing and God's almighty power to change people around that doesn't stop me taking an Aspirin if I have a headache, I'd be daft not to. By that same token how can we stand by and not step up to the mark to make the hoped for difference that the grid may bring Humanity in the areas of research that the World Community Grid is focusing it's efforts on today? Understanding I'm eventually bound for heaven doesn't stop me from trying to make a difference here where I find myself today. Surely that is what the most radical man who ever lived, Jesus, would want us to keep doing today in the 21st century in whatever way we can put our hands to. Our Jeans and T-Shirt style Church was graced by the Bishop of Maidstone, Graham Cray, today and he's now officially the coolest Bishop I know (OK fair enough he's the only Bishop I have ever met but he's still cool) Just got back from our "Worship Explosion" tonight and he was also speaking this evening.
