Re: smile smile Join "MyOnlineTeam" Today - Chapter 15 smile smile

Hello Lawerence and anyone else who can answer this question for me and maybe many more out there.
How do I know if my system is overheating?
Is there some way to find out?
I'm extremely good at running this thing just some of the major tech stuff leaves me baffled.
Right now I'm currently running the UD Agent at 100% after I downloaded the program, and I'm running the BOINC also.
Running a DELL 4600.

Re: smile smile Join "MyOnlineTeam" Today - Chapter 15 smile smile

sad I only wish a few more of them were contributing to the Team
We average between 85 to 115 members returning daily results
We have over 130 members that have quit crunching completely

I'm not trying to be rude to anyone, but I have a question that has been bugging me for a loooooooong time now.
Is there or will there be a way to eliminate these people on teams who no longer are crunching?
It just seems to me that were wasting value cpu resources not including somebodies time to input a lot of this info if they wish to no longer crunch for a paticular team or the WCG.

This is just a question, and I mean no disrespect to anyone!!!!!!!!

After running the PC in full speed for some time, you can always check the temperatures by re-booting the PC (don't let the PC cools down) and immediately going into the bios, for Award bios - inside the section PC Health. You should see something like this -

Compare the current CPU temp with yours to see whether or not overheated. The Current System temp should be around 45 - 48 degrees C.

There are also software that can do the same but not all motherboardsare supported.

Hope this can help.

smile Hi Ady
Sorry I am so late in responding to your message mate, real busy day today
We are not having much luck with Free-DC Stats

smile Hi Graham - your always busy! - your teamies are very lucky they have someone so dedicated - at least your Free-DC stats look back to normal today, so that should save you some time cool
sad I only wish a few more of them were contributing to the Team

I think all the teams suffer from this, its a shame but the ones remaining are dedicated and do great work peace
