If you've returned work, they are probably pending validation. It can take up to a week before you get the credit - but its usually a day or two.
Goto the URL... http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/ms/viewBoin...eturnedTime&pageNum=1 to see whats happening to your work units - you will only get the credit when they are validated. Hope this helps, Jonathan. |

yorkyboyuk2001, it took me about two days getting my results validated. Then, it was all fine.
----------------------------------------Short post today. 'ray! We had an *awesome* day. Pie was hard to get. I blame it on Spanky. Seriously. ![]() |

Don't worry about it YorkyBoy. That is a fine and dandy CPU for crunching. I've got a dual core 2.8GHz P4 crunching as well. Way slower than my AMD Opty 165 @ 2.7GHz, but it still pumps those WUs.

Evening All
Apologies for my absence of late JC, but all of a sudden i felt a tingling in my tail, courtesy of Mr Murphy Feeling a bit peckish for more pie....let's see how things look by Monday On a slightly more serious note, has anyone else been having problems with BOINC just crashing, when run as a service? I've been trying to narrow this down, but I'm having the same problem with Windows XP (SP2), Vista (RC2), Windows Server SP1 Pentium IIIs, Pentium 4s, Xeon, Xeon Dual Core 500MB RAM to 4GB RAM PCs being used and not being used. The logs don't seem to showing anything. As this is such a vague problem, I'd thought I'd mention it here, amongst friends first. (BOINC runs fine if the service is just restarted - I'm writing another service at the moment, to check on the BOINC Service and restart it if required.) Happy Crunching Slug |

...but all of a sudden i felt a tingling in my tail, courtesy of Mr Murphy That will be the slug pellets then Good to see you in the forums, LS! A fine time for you to threaten me - I'm just off for a long weekend and most systems will be down for 5 days. Should give you enough time to catch up anyhow. I am of course distressed about your BOINC issues. No problems here, other that those self inflicted through overclocking of course.... Anyhow, please rest easy in a lettuce patch of your choice, happy in the knowledge that I'll be sure to give you a good spanking on my return. ![]() [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Oct 19, 2006 9:49:40 PM] |
