You'd be better off putting the BOINC client on that rig - get both cores working for you..... it should be good for 30+ hdh results and 4k per day! Orakk - 'wallop' - like it   |

Orakk - 'wallop' - like it orakk 8 hrs to do one unit bit slow i think wots bionic client ive never used that before i wondered why cpu was at 30% ill need instruction on how to use bionic client thanks yorkster |

Morning all!
---------------------------------------- Great numbers from team Andrax, as always.  Dual cores are the way forward for crunching, its gotta be BOINC though. yorkyboy, Have a look here and download the latest version. Install it, Guide here if needed. Goto your 'My Grid' page and set the profile for that pc to 2 cpu's. Then tell BOINC to 'update' on the 'Projects tab' and that should be all. You need to go to your Device Profiles in your device manager.
http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/ms/device/viewProfiles.do Under the BOINC profile for that pc, you should find the 'Processor usage' section in there is 'On multiprocessors, at most use' change it to two and click on save. hope that helps. |
