I have been on Boinc for a while (Started with SETI@home classic). I just added WCG to my computer the other day and now notice that I have a different Cross Project ID on WCG than SETI.
After searching around I realized that I have different IDs because I have a different email address than when I signed up for SETI all those years ago. My question is this: Is there a way to combine or change my WCG CPID to the CPID I have with SETI, so that my stats will be combined? Thank you, Carnth |

First off, change all of them to be the same e-mail address.
Then, make sure you have at least one machine (if you have more than one) that has all of your projects on it. If there are any machines that have projects in isolation, this won't work. Then, just let them all run for a while. Over time, the client will sort out the CPID differences. To see this working, use a site like boincstats.com to search for your username. You might see yourself listed twice in the Combined Stats (all projects) until the CPID issues resolve. After a few days, this should fix itself, and all projects will be using the same CPID. Then, the stats will also combine on the various stats sites. |
