There is a beta of the boinc client ported from linux, i think.. I am not the porter.
http://os2power.dnsalias.com/yuri/download/seti2/ Now all we have to do is get it included as an acceptable platform. If I run it I get the following error: 2005-12-01 17:38:16 [World Community Grid] Message from server: platform 'i386-pc-os2-emx' not found Regards, Paul |

Hi Franki,
There has to be some OS-specific code to handle the file system when the application saves check points to the temporary file. We do not have OS/2 Warp-ready applications on the server for you. Sorry, mycrofth |

Guys,
Thx. for your quick answer... @ paulwtw I will test the client in the future (but this needs time...). @mycrofth ok...I check alternativ "solutions" - see above. Furthermore I will test the Win32 client on the Win32 subsystem "Odin". More informations to Odin - see http://www.innotek.de/services/odin/InnoTek_Win32_Enablement.pdf or http://odin.netlabs.org/ If the test finished I give feedback. Regards Franki |
