I contacted Igor Jurisica, and the WCG team is looking into this "feeder not running" issue now.

The "feeder not running" issue is solved. We can now report finished tasks.

The "feeder not running" issue is solved. We can now report finished tasks. We appear to be back at the situation prior to the feeder going away yesterday -- requests from all my systems are getting the "other platforms" message...No new work yet though. It usually takes a while after a "feeder not running" issue, before any new work is available. If the same is happening to Windows users as well that's a real problem, as mentioned in the last update (unless there's a huge backlog of Android retries waiting  ) -- whatever the case, there may be new work hidden by whatever is going on...Cheers - Al. |
