Let's first solve the failing uploads, then wait 2 weeks until everybody is 100% sure it's really solved, and then maybe release a tiny few ARP's slowly, carefully and while fully monitoring everything.

This is a bookmark worthy page. And I don't mean to sound negative in any way, but long overdue. Reading through the operational status provided more insight into what is going on with WCG than I've seen in the past three years with the exception of a few specific special communications regarding outages.
----------------------------------------If this page is actually maintained, I think it will go a long, long way in creating understanding among the volunteers that have become very frustrated and disappointed with the state of WCG. It may even encourage others to donate more than their computing cycles and overall just have a sense of the effort the lab team is putting into maintaining and improving WCG. I'll come back to this post in 6 months and hopefully be able to appreciate ongoing updates to this page! [Edit 2 times, last edit by brian163 at Nov 24, 2024 5:05:38 PM] |
