Oh well, perhaps today... ![]() |

It's called a small team that is slightly over their head with a balky system that does not want to cooperate. seems simple i theory, but its being a PIA.

Going by the events of the past, and this morning's explanation, it seems because of that small team, they seem to be easily sucked in by trying to implement fancy new solutions that turn out to be everything but...Ralf |

Yes, this extremely long and elongated outage of epic proportions, sure is stretching the patience of saints. Just think though, on the other side of the coin (i.e., the WCG techies behind the scenes), I'm sure they'll be far more stressed/frustrated and probably, 'fed up' of all the obstacles - be they WCG or data cenre induced, preventing them from getting WCG back up and running, than many of us can imagine. After all, it isn't as though they'll have had a 'spare date centre' to test and prepare all the steps needed for this transition ahead of time.
----------------------------------------All we can hope for, is that, once they/we get the system back up and running, they'll have learn't a heck of a lot of stuff, as well as having a system that's far more resilient going forward. ![]() |

Well, that seems to be the plan. However, it is well known that no plan survives first contact with reality...Ralf |
