i probably just missed something........
on other boinc projects all i needed was an email address and a password and it created an account. when the cpid was issued it attached it to the user name i used on the first project i set up. ie, "Joe Blow". wcg required a user name to creae an account. it said "Joe Blow" was not available. so i used "JB" but the same emaill address as the other projects. will the CPID will eventually change to be the same as the other boinc projects? (it always has). but i guess i'll be using a different user name than i have on the other also? thanks. |

CTH9,
The cross-project id is synched between projects based upon your email address. Once you have attached a device between WCG and another project and it has updated to both projects then the cross-project id here will be the same as the cross-project id at your other projects. The key to have the CPID in sync is the email address - not the username. Kevin |

Thanks Kevin. I wasn't sure about WCG since the interface looks a little different than other Boinc projects. I guess somebody else on this project has the same name as me.....
