Re: No CPU work units avalable?

Looks like they are back on line and running. It makes me sad when they are down for DAYS on end and there is not communication at all. I wish they would at least email us with news and an ETA

Re: No CPU work units avalable?

I have a load of Denis@Home work units I downloaded during the WCG outage thinking I needed enough to last until July 26.. I will let those run down for a bit before I will re-enable WCG work fetch. Other wise there is the danger of overloading the queue. Those Denis work units only take 2-3 hours apiece so it won't be long before the queue gets down a bit.
Cheers

No rush, as there don't seem to be any MCM1 WUs so far anyway... sad

For sure there was no rush. Monday will be the earliest we see any work units, because they don't work weekends. A little announcement stating there is/would be no work would have been nice.
Cheers

Re: No CPU work units avalable?

I ran out of work everywhere: Denis, TnGrid, WCG, Rosetta, and Milkyway. The only one still with work is SiDock which I stopped long ago because they are from Moscow. I hate their WUs because they are all 1 day long even on my Ryzen 9 3900X. Longer on other machines.

Having trouble making an account with Cosmology, only get generic error message.
Denis is out of work units.

Snagged some work from MilkyWay.

Denis said they would be slowing down and I guess they will pretty much shut down for August as it is vacation time in Europe.
