I see the same behaviour. However, it doesn't mean that they are not running at all. wink (The CPU% runs against 100%.) What happens, what do you see, if you use 'htop' instead, Jean-David? I can tell that they are running because the time to complete keeps dropping. And in top, the cpu time consumed is increasing appropriately. By the time I found htop in EPEL. downloaded it, read the manual page, no SCC1 tasls were running. But i will leave htop running and see what it says when at least one of the SCC1 tasks is running. ![]() |

OK, Jean-David, this is what I see on my machine using htop -M:
(The first five columns PPID PID USER PRI NI look all the same, so I've not replicated them here.) VIRT RES SHR S CPU%▽MEM% TIME+ Command Note column 'S'. Adri |

@WCG team
----------------------------------------How about turning on the SCC validator before you leave the lab for the weekend? I have singletons just waiting for a visit by the validator. I'm sure I'm not alone, having SCC tasks waiting for the validator. [Edit 1 times, last edit by Grumpy Swede at Apr 21, 2023 6:45:03 PM] |

By the time I found htop in EPEL. downloaded it, read the manual page, no SCC1 tasls were running. But i will leave htop running and see what it says when at least one of the SCC1 tasks is running. Top is now running correctly and indicates that running DCC1 processes are running, not sleeping htop is too confusing for me to use, but seems to say about the same thing. ![]() |

Not one of mine has validated yet either. Has anyone had one validate? I will hazard a guess it will be a day or two before they start validating results. They may want to see just how big the returns might be, or they may just want to build a bit of a backlog. Cheers

I had a bunch of SCC that were only issued to 1 computer (me), but now the SCC I'm getting are issued to 2. I'm new to this project, so I don't know what is normal.
