I'm just saying that these forums would likely be a nicer place if you didn't bring up Krembil's track record nearly every time you post about a current/new issue. Well, Krembil (via Cyclops) is bringing up the same platitudes every time there is an issue. "We are going to look into it", "It's gonna be fixed any time now"...It would be a much nicer place to begin with if there would be a more frequent and also more honest communication from Krembil. @GuiltyDoggy: what you seemed to be missing is that Krembil is benefiting from running WCG. Not only from running the MCM project, but from advertising their research effort by pointing out that they now run it (if you can call it that for face value). And that is money in the bank for them, as they get paid for at least some if not most of their research efforts. And they are using us, all the volunteers at WCG, for this. No need for us to pay for WUs... @adriverhoef: Well, schizophrenia involves usually different mindsets too, and that ain't a good thing either... |

Looks like we are getting fresh workunits now. THANK YOU ! Well, I just got one (1) MCM WU, across roughly two dozen hosts... Well, at least that download, including a new 102MB file went pretty quick. Let's see what's next... Ralf |

And they are using us, all the volunteers at WCG, for this. I still don't get it. If you don't like it (anymore), then don't use it (anymore). You made your point, you made your offers, they didn't get through, so the next logical and sane step would be to move along. Anything else is just grouse. It might help you to let off steam, but it doesn't help anyone else. How about your own project? |

Does the OpenPandemics team have a target for some of those GPU tasks? I have 4 machines with fancy GPUs ready to process them. :)

No need for us to pay for WUs.. So you’re upset that they’re not giving you WU’s so they can “use” you even more? I don’t get it. You have a mindset that they’re benefitting off of you, so you think they owe you the very thing they are using to gain that benefit? For all I care, I’m here to help when/how they want. If they don’t want/can’t send out WU’s for a while, so be it. |

Suggestion: Clean-up the sticky threads. Lots of old threads that aren't very relevant any more.
