Hi folks,
I attached my Linux BOINC client to WCG the other day. I had Joined Boinc Synergy team on this site but it is not showing up in my BOINC Client. According to My Grid - My statistic, I am a member, but it's not coming through to the client. Anyone got any idease what's up? cheers, Paul. |

That's because WCG doesn't support boinc teams yet. The credited you accumulated for Synergy will be showed on the site only and not in the xml files.

Yup Pconfig is correct I brought this up in another thread about XNL stats a few days ago, currently the only thing XML stats haven't got in them is the Team Info you can only get the info from this site and it is exported so wont show up in other stat services

Will the Team be visible in the BOINC Manager window in the furture? thanks for the help! Paul. |

Good question. Definitely want my team to get the credit. Adding Linux boxes as fast as I can at any rate.

aelbric, as Pconfig and Halifax--lad have mentioned, Your team will get credit on the World Community Grid for the boxes that you attached to it as long as you have joined the team with your user id.

Just to clarify what uplinger said thought:
Your team on the World Community Grid website will get credit for your run time, points and results that you return. However, your team stats will not show up in the BOINC manager nor will they show up on the various BOINC stat website. This will be implemented sometime in the future. Kevin |
