Hi TigerLily, Yes, I see the device added now, thank you. However, it has an old name. Could we get it updated to the correct name? 8814926 = DAISY-07

hello, I have recently returned to WCG. i do not see any recent contributions on the History, Devices or Overview tabs although my Android device (F5121) seems to be processing WUs. only old results from 2020 and earlier are present, but new/active tasks do seem to appear on the Results tab. do i need to wait a few more days? thank you.
----------------------------------------(edit: i can now see F5121 (ID appears to be 6028985) displaying no results/last result, no runtime, no contribution or points earned, even if it's been running for a few days now. a new device with same name, but ID 8820536 is now showing some results on its page, but not on history or overview. very odd. i don't care about credit itself, just to know the results are indeed being sent and helping scientists.) Hi Thameshouse,
I followed up with the tech team about your device. They are in the process of implementing some changes to the message broker that should resolve any discrepancies between what the BOINC client displays and what is displayed on the website. Once these changes are implemented, the correct name will be displayed. |

Hi! My device (host ID: 8822730) is missing from Devices and from the overall statistics. https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/ms/device/...=8822730&deviceType=B just gives an error. I started it on 2024-08-27 and it has returned a couple hundreds of results, many of which are validated. Ironically, I received a notice in a BOINC interface suggesting me to download BOINC and start contributing.

Hello! My desktop PC is also missing in the statistics. It has returned quite a lot of results, but isn't shown in my devices overview.
The host id is 8823077 - read from the event log. Accessing the device management results in an error: https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/ms/device/...=8823077&deviceType=B Could you please help me? Kind regards, Olivier |

Hello,
my PC is also invisible in devices overview, despite the fact it has returned some results. The ID is 8823274 - read from sched_request. Accessing the device management from http address results in an error. BOINC 8.0.2 user. May I ask You for help? Kind regards, quantum_dot_92 |

How recently did your PC return its first result? Based on personal experience: without any outside help, it usually it takes about 2-4 days for the PC to automatically show up in the DEVICES listing. Once your PC is showing in the DEVICE listing, all the work it performed will also be properly credited. Happy crunching! |
