I just restarted my scripts to hammer the server every 10 seconds to retry the stalled downloads. Seems to be still working fine.

The download issue is just embarrassing.
----------------------------------------It has to be babysit on each of the device's receiving, to keep retrying to download a very small size work unit. Is it possible to get a few old white haired men to fix the problem? |

It takes over three hours to download 25 minutes of work. I got some OPNG allocated just as I was going to bed last night. They were still waiting to download when I got up this morning. |

I am really questioning what the people out there are doing.
Recently, they explained what this eternal "transient HTTP error" was caused by, and that they could finally fix it, and short time later it all begins from scratch. Could anyone from the WCG team please let us know what's going on and when we will see things work smoothly as it was the case under IBM? The Krembil people have had more than half a year to make WCG work after the transition. And still it does not work :-( Until then, I will spend my resources, my time and my nerves for other projects. |

Hi erich56, the tech team is currently aware of the issue and are working to fix it ASAP. Getting the platform running error-free is always our #1 priority. |
